SUMMARY:Kiama Woodcraft Group Annual Expo 2026
DESCRIPTION:The next Kiama Woodcraft Group Annual Expo will be held in the Kiama Masonic Hall on the weekend of the 7th and 8th of March 2026. \nOpen each day 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. \nEntry is free. \nThe Annual Expo began in 2000\, and has grown into a two-day event that draws interest from woodworking clubs from around the South Coast\, Southern Highlands and Sydney regions. Approximately 2000 visitors pass through the doors over the weekend. \nThe aim of the Expo is to stimulate interest in woodcraft by showcasing a variety of demonstrations from members including woodturning\, pyrography\, carving\, fretwork and box making. \nMembers’ work from throughout the year will be on display and is available for purchase at very reasonable prices. \nEntries in the annual Superfoot Club Challenge will be on display: each member receives an identical piece of timber and is challenged to make anything they like from it. Members of the public can vote for their favourite entry\, with a perpetual trophy awarded to the winner at the end of the weekend. \nThe Expo also hosts a specialty timber merchant providing sales of native and exotic timbers. Timber is available as dressed slabs\, boards\, smaller-project lengths\, pen blanks and burls. \nThis is a wheelchair-friendly venue.
