My job is done… finished.
What we have here is a two tiered liftoff lid box approx 300mm sq and sitting a whisker less than 100mm tall (each tray is approx 45mm high). I intend placing it in my workbench drawer to hold my favourite incidental tools, knives, callipers, pencils, crayons, pieces of string, and, of course, chocolate biscuits.
The sides are of American Cherry, 8mm thick x 45mm high, the lift-off is of bird’s-eye grey gum @ 7mm thick, all have been sanded to 320 grit and finished with a couple of applications of Liberon Georgian Mahogany furniture wax.
That’s it… don’t mention the biscuits…
